Thank You! | | Eden for pets discovered: You can't just "notice" it, you have to seek it out, but it is a former welding garage on Mango Ave. where Mango meets Twelfth Street, (just West of Lime Ave.) Enter through the huge old castle doors (there's no moat) and you are in a fairyland of pet-related gifts, curios, mementos and doo-dads, all tastefully chosen by proprietress Marne, who offers a cheerful hello and a cup of coffee. The name of the place is Animals by Nature///Tree of Life Club, and we were there pertaining to getting Larry, the feline in 912, his vaccinations. December events, open to the public (but not all are free) include dog fun parties, pet blessings and "cookie swaps." Most proceeds go to pet charities. This establishment is worthy of a visit, pet or no pet, as a fairyland of pet treats, antique decor and pet-curios. Check it out ASAP and you'll thank us for mentioning it.
